It is with pleasure that I bring you the first blog post of the Summer 2013 season! Our festival has been underway since Tuesday and the halls of the M.O. Morgan building are filled with excitement and beautiful singerly noises as our participants attend rehearsals, lessons and coachings with our world renowned faculty and guest artists.
Our 2013 season brings you La Traviata under the direction of Michael Cavanagh and under the baton of Maestro Judith Yan, as well as Die Zauberflote (The Magic Flute) under the baton of Marc David and stage direction of Chas Rader-Shieber. Along with this two fabulous productions, the festival will be presenting to you a recital series which includes an Operas Greatest Hits featuring the NSO.
